As we grow in our careers, something unexpected happens.

We earn more responsibility, lead bigger teams, attend more meetings, and solve more problems. Ironically, the one thing that becomes harder to find is time for ourselves.

At the office, someone always needs your attention.

At home, there are family responsibilities, children, household work, or personal tasks waiting for you.

If you keep waiting for the "perfect time" to relax or think, it may never come.

Instead, reclaim one part of your day that already exists—your commute.

Whether you travel by car, metro, bus, cab, or train, that journey can become your daily investment in yourself.

If you're driving, listen to an audiobook, a podcast, or simply enjoy a few minutes of silence. Instead of consuming random social media content, feed your mind with ideas that help you grow.

If you're travelling as a passenger, close your eyes for a few minutes. Meditate. Observe your breathing. Reflect on your day. Or simply do nothing.

Doing nothing is becoming a rare luxury.

The key is to disconnect.

Disconnect from work emails.

Disconnect from social media notifications.

Disconnect from the endless stream of information competing for your attention.

For 20–60 minutes every day, choose yourself.

These small pockets of uninterrupted time may not seem significant, but over months and years they become moments of learning, clarity, and peace.

Your commute isn't just the distance between your home and your office.

It's the distance between a busy life and a peaceful mind.

Protect it.

Make your commute your "Me Time."
